HARD ENDURO SLOVAKIA · GDPR ARTICLE 13 NOTICE

PRIVACY &PERSONAL DATA.

A clear account of what information we use when you browse the website, contact the organiser or register for Hard Enduro Slovakia 2027—and why we need it.

VERSION 2026-09-03EFFECTIVE 3 SEP 2026
01 / YOUR DATA

WHAT WE PROCESS. WHY. FOR HOW LONG.

01

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE

GL MOTO team, o. z. is the controller of personal data used for the website, rider registration, payment administration and organisation of Hard Enduro Slovakia 2027. You can use the email address or telephone number above for any privacy request.

02

DATA WE USE

Depending on how you use the site, we process the information you enter, information created during registration and payment, and limited technical data needed to deliver and secure the website.

Payment-card details are entered directly into Stripe's hosted Checkout and do not enter or remain on this website.

  • Identity and contact: full name, email, telephone number and nationality/country.
  • Event entry: selected class, optional motorcycle, start number, registration status and acceptance of the applicable terms.
  • Payment record: amount, currency, payment or refund status, payment method and Stripe transaction, customer and Checkout identifiers.
  • Technical data: IP address, request, device and security information where generated by hosting and website protection services.
03

PURPOSES & LEGAL BASES

We do not sell personal data. We use it only where a legal basis under Article 6 GDPR applies.

  • Steps before entering into a contract and performance of the event-entry contract: registration, number reservation, payment, rider communication, entry administration and refunds (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Compliance with accounting, tax, consumer-protection and other legal duties (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Legitimate interests in website and payment security, fraud prevention, event operation, defence of legal claims and keeping an accurate start list (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Marketing messages will be sent only if a separate voluntary consent or another lawful basis applies. Registration is not conditional on marketing consent.
04

PUBLIC START LIST

To operate and communicate the sporting event, the public rider directory may show the rider's start number, full name, nationality/country, class, motorcycle and registration status. It does not publish email, telephone number or payment identifiers. Contact us if an entry is inaccurate or if you have reasons to object to publication in your situation.

05

WHO RECEIVES DATA

Access is limited to authorised organiser personnel and suppliers that need the data for the stated purposes. Recipients may include Stripe for hosted payment processing, Cloudflare for hosting, delivery and security, and necessary IT, email or accounting providers. Data may also be provided to public authorities where the law requires it or to advisers where needed to establish or defend legal claims.

Stripe may independently determine some processing connected with its regulated payment services. Its own privacy notice applies on the hosted Checkout page.

06

DATA OUTSIDE THE EEA

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer must rely on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another safeguard permitted by GDPR. Further details are available in the privacy information of Stripe and Cloudflare or from the organiser on request.

07

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

An incomplete, failed or expired Checkout does not create a confirmed entry; the associated temporary rider reservation is normally removed after it expires. Confirmed registration data is kept for event preparation, delivery and follow-up, and for as long as related claims may need to be handled. Payment and accounting records are retained for the periods required by law. Afterwards, data is deleted or anonymised unless another lawful reason requires continued retention.

08

YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS

Subject to the conditions in GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. A deletion request cannot override a record that we must retain by law.

09

REQUIRED INFORMATION

Fields marked as required, together with the telephone and payment information requested in Checkout, are needed to conclude and administer the event entry. Without them we cannot complete registration. Motorcycle information is optional. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects; automatic number allocation and payment-status updates are operational steps only.

10

TECHNICAL STORAGE & COOKIES

This website currently uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It stores only a language preference in the browser and may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms for security, administration, registration and payment continuity. Because no optional tracking is active, the website does not display a consent banner. Stripe's hosted Checkout is a separate service and its own privacy and technology information applies there.
